JIM SIMMONS 1946 - 2005 Jim was taken from us too soon and too suddenly on February 22, 2005. He is survived by his son Paul (Wendy), daughter Dawn; his companion Ann Bakshi of Edmonton, and brother Bob (Patricia) of Winnipeg. Jim lived his early years in Winnipeg and attended Daniel McIntyre and the University of Manitoba. Jim started his career as a Social Worker and drifted into Business as owner of Simmons Roofing and Consulting in Edmonton. Jim played many sports in his life and counted baseball and golf as his all time favourites. In his life, and his business he was loved and successful because he followed the old adage, it's how you play the game that counts . Jim's life was celebrated in Edmonton and he has been laid to rest there. All Is Well Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped into the next room I am I and you are you Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
